In his own words, Mukunda Madhab Borbayan shared with ANI, “We are preparing to perform at the Osaka Festival, representing India along with artists from 14 countries. It’s an opportunity to showcase our rich cultural heritage.” He mentioned the performance would consist of a 10-minute slot for his dance, alongside folk dances from the other Assamese artists before their return on April 20. This participation is essential in maintaining and promoting indigenous art forms on a global scale, honouring the legacy of Shrimanta Shankar Dev.
