After thorough discussions with Tel Aviv’s mayor, Ron Huldai, a town twinning agreement emerged, set to be formalized during Huldai’s Berlin visit on May 5. Discussions about the potential twinning had previously taken place during Wegner’s visit to Tel Aviv last February. Currently, Berlin boasts 18 city partnerships with a diverse range of cities including Buenos Aires, London, and Beijing.
