Condor’s New Flights Boost Sustainable Travel Across Germany

Condor Airlines has revitalised its service by resuming flights from Frankfurt to major German cities Berlin and Hamburg, alongside a commitment to eco-friendly travel. This marks a significant enhancement in connectivity across Germany in collaboration with Deutsche Bahn (DB) since March 20, 2025, making travel not only convenient but also more sustainable.

The partnership between Condor and Deutsche Bahn facilitates an effortless blend of air and rail travel for passengers. When booking international flights, travellers can choose from 21 cities throughout Germany, ensuring smooth transitions. Notable benefits of this integration include reserved seating at no additional cost, seamless transfers between train and plane, and exclusive lounge access for Business Class passengers at DB stations.

This initiative underscores Condor’s dedication to reducing its carbon footprint. All DB long-distance routes run entirely on renewable energy, dovetailing with Condor’s sustainability strategy. Enhanced connectivity extends to major cities such as Munich, Cologne, Düsseldorf, and Berlin, including a new rail line from Dresden to Berlin Brandenburg Airport, supporting connections to destinations like Dubai.

The relaunch of domestic flights demonstrates Condor’s renewed focus on Germany’s aviation market. Scheduled flights commenced on March 1, 2025, with the inaugural flight to Berlin departing at 10:30 AM, followed closely by a flight to Hamburg at 10:45 AM.

In a bid for greener operations, Condor has introduced fuel-efficient aircraft like the Airbus A320neo and A321neo into its fleet. Powered by advanced Pratt & Whitney engines, these aircraft achieve a 20% reduction in fuel consumption compared to older models. Furthermore, the adoption of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) amplifies Condor’s commitment to responsible air travel.

Condor Airlines has relaunched flights between Frankfurt and major German cities Berlin and Hamburg, collaborating with Deutsche Bahn to promote sustainable travel. This partnership allows passengers to book convenient air and rail connections from 21 German cities, with benefits like reserved seating and lounge access. Additionally, Condor’s fuel-efficient aircraft and commitment to using renewable energy underscores its dedication to environmentally friendly travel.

Condor’s enhanced flight services from Frankfurt to Berlin and Hamburg, coupled with a strategic alliance with Deutsche Bahn, foster both convenience and sustainability in travel. This endeavour showcases Condor’s commitment to reduce its environmental impact while offering seamless connectivity across Germany. The implementation of fuel-efficient aircraft and the use of renewable energy further solidify Condor’s focus on eco-friendly aviation.
