The initiative aims to structure and enhance how sports contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring a transformative legacy from the Paris 2024 Games. The AFD Group plays a significant role in financing and supporting sustainable development initiatives, contributing to both local and global projects aimed at creating a fair and resilient world.

The International Olympic Committee, committed to fostering a better world through sport, will support the event, focusing on redistributing significant funds back into the sporting community. With the summit’s goals aligning closely with the IOC’s mission, it promises to be a cornerstone event leading up to the games, with webcasts available in multiple languages.
