In a heartfelt recognition of enduring bravery, the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy has awarded the prestigious 2024 Asia Democracy and Human Rights Award to Odhikar, a Bengali rights organization. Odhikar, translating to “rights” in Bengali, was established in 1994 by renowned human rights activist Adilur Rahman Khan.
